Symbio
Accessibility

Symbio is being built so that people with disabilities can use it. This page says what works today, what we know is still wrong, and how to tell us about a problem.

Where this stands

We are not yet saying that Symbio meets the standard. A review was carried out on 7 September 2026 and found real problems. Some are already fixed and some are not. We would rather say that plainly than publish a claim we cannot stand behind.

What we are working to

Israeli law requires internet services to follow Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, which is based on the international WCAG guidelines. That is what we are building to.

What works today

  • The site can be used with a keyboard alone, and the item you are on is visible.
  • Text and controls have been checked for colour contrast.
  • Form fields have labels, and an error is read out together with the field it belongs to.
  • The site works in six languages, and Hebrew is laid out right to left.
  • We do not use an accessibility overlay. Overlays do not make a site accessible, and we will not add a third-party script to pages that show passport details.

What we know is not right yet

  • Some changes are not announced to a screen reader. New messages in a conversation are the clearest example.
  • After some actions the keyboard position is lost and returns to the top of the page.
  • We have not yet finished testing with a screen reader on a phone.
  • An uploaded document is stored as a picture, so a screen reader cannot read what it says.

Text other people write

Workers write their own profiles and companies write their own job posts. We are responsible for the pages around that text and for making it possible to write it accessibly, not for the wording itself.

Tell us about a problem

If something here is hard or impossible to use, please tell us. It helps to say which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what device or software you use.

You may also formally require us to fix an accessibility problem, and we must respond.

We are setting up a dedicated address for this and will publish it here.

If you are signed in, you can also write to us from the Messages panel.
